Covert Social Press is a new social bookmarking network + wordpress theme from creators Soren Jordansen, John Merrick and Cindy Battye. Firstly I have to give them credit already because I looked at Covert Social Press briefly the other week and it does look interesting however what I am really pleased about is a free script that they gave away. I just installed it yesterday and I am already seeing better results.
The script is to do with Google Analytics and helps lower your bounce rate which means your website looks better in the eyes of Google and can potentially get ranked higher, so I must say thank you to the Covert Social Press creators for putting that freebie out, it’s really great and I’m looking forward to seeing what the results are in a week or 2 after using it!
So, back to Covert Social Press…
It’s a new wordpress theme you can use which allows you to use content curation which is what websites like Digg do to get huge amounts of traffic without actually creating anything. This is different to simply stealing peoples content because you will be providing valuable content which Google likes, not just scraping garbage content.
