The entire program feels kinda gate kept by judges who don’t want competition
I'm a player who can enjoy a game when interactions get wonky and can enjoy watching an opponent's Commander deck pop off for ten minutes in sheer delight. This program sounds right up my alley.
solid episode. very informative
How much is known about Reconfigure rules? if you have the answers (or guesses for it), I am curious about:
– older cards that mention "equip", for instance equip cost reductions – do that count for Reconfigure as well?
– what happens if you attach an equipment (A) to one of the new equipment creatures (B), and then try to equip (B) to another creature (C)? Will (C) get the buff of only B, A+B, would A automatically be unequipped since the target B is no longer a creature, etc…
Question: could you tell any storied about notorious cheaters who tried to cheat via card effects or just got away with so much before it caught up to them?
I've just finished watching your daily ruling on Doubling Season and Gemstone Mine and now I'm wondering about how this scenario would go down:
Amy controls Zabaz, the Glimmerwasp which is enchanted with Mirror Mockery. After attacking, how many counters can be put where and can a player interact at any point after the copy of Zabaz is on the field?
Let's say that Amy also controls an Arcbound Ravager, just for context of a point of interaction that Amy might consider using, if she is able to.
can’t wait to watch this full thing.
question for the new set! how do the new equipment creatures interact with Galea’s “play equipment from the top of your deck” ability?
Great episode!!
It was a very nice episode ! Thank you for bringing Nicolette, everything she said was cristal clear, you really managed to give us a great overview of the process ! I particularly enjoyed the part about finding a mentor and the soft skills justification behind it. I think it's a very clever way to make sure that people have the minimum relation skills. It feels not too abstract nor too much to ask, and really pinpoints a key competence : asking by showing interest rather than waiting from help. Thanks Nicolette !
I like the content you do with other judges, as well as the longer less scripted videos you make about a topic rather than specific rules interactions. It really brings up your joyfull personality that we don't get to see in the shorter videos. You sharing anecdotes and saying "Oh wait ! Wait ! I have a good one !" really makes my day .
I have two suggestions for topics you could cover in the future :
– How do you handle people self ruling, without calling for a judge ? I heard that you could be disqualified for determining an outcome by rolling a die, even at regular REL, but it seams quite severe for something that was originally in the game rules. Why is that ?
-How do you handle player with disabilites ? Is there specific guidelines in the rules ? Would you be able as judge to rule differently if you new the player was colorblind for example ? Does it differ from regular/competitive REL ?
Finnaly, not really a suggestion because I know you will probably do it, but i'd love for you to make some review about the weird mechanics that are most likely going to apear in Unfinity. I know you don't look forward for people doing mistakes with the legality but the rules at least should be fun ! Do you also consider doing reviews of silver border broken cards, like the one that spilt your deck, or those that say that the top card of your library is one the Battlefield, and all the fun stuff that might occur ?
Thanks again
Greetings from a quite new viewer 😀
Great episode/ content! I love the sequence and line of questions Dave asked as it almost covers the basic FAQs. more power to your channel!
Day 5 of asking "Is that a Hedron or are you just happy to see me?"
Thanks for the video! Many years ago I became a level 1 judge and judged a couple of tournaments at a comic shop! It was fun, but my life shot me in a different direction!
